Episode 3 - Innovation?

Isaac, Aaron, and Kender discuss Nintendo's new handheld/console, the Switch, and the pros and cons of such a system. They then talk about the games that have been eating up all their free time recently. Isaac has been playing Pokémon Sun, Kender has been really diving into Overwatch competitively, and Aaron has some words about a really fantastic game called Crawl. The brothers debate the meaning of innovation in the context of Overwatch and game of the year. Tune in for some (semi) intelligent discussion on gaming and why we love it.

Episode 2 - E3 Games Recap!

In today's episode Isaac and Kenderek, another of the many brothers, discuss the hype of E3 and the games they are most excited for. They are incredibly excited for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Last Guardian, God of War, and more. Maybe not as excited for Spiderman or FFXV but still have some cautious optimism. Join in as they explain why they like what they see and some of their biggest fears about these upcoming games.

Episode 1

We're new! We're nervous! We're stiff and inexperienced, but we've got something that none of those other gaming podcasts have: Good looks? Maybe not, but we'll figure it out later. For now, listen in to the first episode of Game Changers. We start by briefly introducing ourselves and then we dive into recent gaming news and announcements and talk about E3 hopes and dreams (or lack thereof). We then move into our Recently Played segment and discuss League of Legends, Overwatch, Neptune's Pride 2, and more. Join us in our first podcast episode and let us know what you think (be gentle)!

00:06:40 - In the news segment we talk about console ".5" versions and the pros and cons this change might bring. We also discuss No Man's Sky getting pushed back (again), and our excitement for The Last Guardian.
00:25:19 - We then debate the validity of E3 hype and game trailer's being deceptively appealing. We also remember last E3 and the amazing announcements it brought (FF7 remake, anyone?). We then discuss a few of the games we think will be making big appearances at E3, including Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Injustice 2, and Mafia 3.
00:40:52 - In the Recently Played segment we, surprisingly, talk about Oblivion and the power of nostalgia. We then talk about the consistent fun and enjoyment of League of Legends and why it has such a staying power in our gaming choices. We discuss Neptune's Pride 2 and the life-consuming nature of its gameplay and strategy. We bring it to a close with a brief discussion of Overwatch and why its such a fun shooter that we believe it will stick around for years.
